Business Council Wants Certainty

The Business Council of Australia  president Graham Bradley, who supported the failed emissions trading scheme backed by ousted Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, vowed to keep working with both sides of politics “despite recent developments”.
“he said.

He went on to day that “these policies must enable emissions reductions to be achieved at least cost to the economy, maintain the reliability and viability of the domestic electricity industry, and maintain the competitiveness of Australia’s industries in the absence of a global price on carbon.”

The problem with the Business Council is that it only represents big business.  Small to medium business would also like certainty but they are not represented by anyone because while the largest sector of Australian business, there is such a big diversity.
