UK sets 80% emissions reduction by 2050

Scientists say we need to reduce greenhouse emissions by 50% now and 80% by 2050. The UK have made the commitment to reducing emissions by 80% by 2050 and includes the aviation and shipping sectors. They have been congratulated by UNICEF for passing the “world’s strongest” legislation to combat climate change. And this was passed by an overwhelming majority on October 28.
