More great news from Australian Bight Abalone
This company has one of the most environmentally friendly farming methods you can image. You can read more about them in the case study on http://www.enviroaction.com.au/bight_abalone.html.
This company, which was only a start up about four years ago worked with me to implement a fully integrated management system with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, HACCP and Occupational Health and Safety. They are also audited as Carbon Neutral.
Now they able to support the community and they have awarded 12 not-for-profit Eyre Peninsula organisations with cash grants under its 2008 Community Grants program. ABA’s CEO, Andrew Ferguson says $10,000 has been allocated, with the successful applicants being granted between $500 and $2000.
“ABA takes its role in the community very seriously and we are very pleased to offer our continuing financial support to deserving organisations,” Andrew says. “This is the third year we have made these grants.”
Not bad for a new start-up! Well done ABA!
