A new survey released by the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development found that the businesses with high greenhouse emissions are having the most influence on climate change policy, according to. Some 70% of the 2,400 New Zealanders surveyed said the heavy emitters have most influence, followed by environmental groups (53%). Green Party MPs rank third (37%) and business organisations came fourth (34%).
